Teresa, your Lulalu Lady for the month of May!  

Tell us about yourself!

My name is Teresa and I am a wife, mom of a 5-year-old daughter and 2-year old son, and a small business owner of a childcare center that I co-own with my husband. The biggest challenge I have faced is raising two young children while building, opening, and operating a small business — all during COVID! Also, operating a small business with your husband is no easy feat, but we have somehow managed to navigate the trials and triumphs of being business partners as well as husband and wife! 

How has shopping with Lulalu impacted your life?

After I had my second baby, my body changed drastically. I was no longer comfortable wearing v-neck tops, blouses, or sleeveless shirts — styles that I really loved pre-motherhood. My self-esteem plummeted and I became very self conscious about my upper body. I envied women who had what I now lack. 

I had tried multiple different brands of bras and none of them gave me the comfort and security that was promised on their websites. I felt like giving up! Finally, I decided to try one more time with Lulalu. Immediately after putting on my first Lulalu bra, I became more confident in myself and I felt excited to wear my favorite tops again, especially now that Summer is only a few months away!  

I am loving the Mia bra in nude — it’s comfortable yet sturdy, form fitting, gap-free, and I just feel beautiful in it!

What is your favorite thing about the brand as a whole?

My favorite thing about Lulalu is that they really do have bras for every size! I also love that they feature a woman every month — it’s a reminder that there are other women out there going through different sorts of challenges. Their stories empowered me to share my own, in the hopes that women in similar situations won’t feel so alone in their journey!
