Finding that one bra that fits perfectly feels like a ~dream~ come true. Unfortunately, over time, every perfect bra is going to transform into a not-so-perfect bra, meaning it’s time to get a new one! So how do you know when it's time to say goodbye?
- THE SPILLOVER
Even petite women can have a bra that’s so tight it causes spillover. Unless your bra fits perfectly without squeezing your chest on the top, bottom or sides, you’re not getting the right fit that you need, not to mention you’re definitely less comfortable than you could be.
- WRINKLED BRA CUPS
When your cup is too big, the fabric tends to bunch up, sag, or become wrinkly and the foam cup may collapse, creating unsightly indentations. This especially causes a problem when you’re wearing lighter clothes and the shape of the bra shows through, creating a strange visual through your top.
- BACK CLOSURE IS TOO LOOSE
If you’re on the tightest closure and the bra is not hugging you comfortably anymore, it’s a sign your bra has stretched out into its final days. You should always begin wearing your bra on the loosest closure, moving tighter as the bra experiences normal wear. When it’s too loose, it’s time for a refresh.
- THAT WRETCHED UNDERWIRE
