We have made every effort to ensure that Lula
Lu lives up to our mission of carrying lingerie styles
that fit petite women better by enlisting the help
of petite women as product testers.
All of our bras and sleepwear have been tested and usually by more than one tester
before it is selected.
Please note that once a brand is determined to have petite friendly sizing, we
will order seasonal merchandise from the brand based on the fit from previously
tested products. Seasonal merchandise usually cannot be tested as samples are
not available prior to production due to the seasonality of the merchandise.

summed up in just a few words: "That's
cute! Oh (downtrodden), but it's too big." How
unfulfilling and tragic to go shopping for
an article of clothing that you know going
in has little probability of fitting! It's
not pessimism but reality.

favorite shopping activity because of the
limited styles available in smaller sizes.
I often buy several of a single style when
I do finally find something that fits. I'm
ready to find styles that fit and that are
sophisticated and flattering!

Size: 0 - 2 Height: 5'3" I shop for bras once
every two years, usually during a sale and when
my current collection is falling apart. When
I find a bra I like, I buy 4 or 5 of them. The
styles are discontinued as quick as I find them.
I prefer bras with light padding and smooth material.
All my bras have underwire, although I don't
think I really need it with an AA cup size!

Size: 6 Height:5'2" I find bras are often pretty to look
at but not as comfortable on. I also find
it stressful shopping in department store
lingerie sections where the selection can
seem overwhelming. I recently found there
is no reason to wear underwire. I don't know
why I have been doing so. Maybe because it
seemed like a "grown-up" woman
thing to do but, really, it is so much more
comfortable without underwire and the non-underwire
bras have just as good support!

tags that itch….I'd
much rather go shoe shopping than lingerie shopping!
Searching at the big department stores for petite
sizes can
be especially frustrating. A bra in a bright color
or with a unique pattern is nice or with a touch
of femininity, like a little bow, some lace but
nothing too decorative or over the top! When it
comes to
bras, less is definitely more.

Size: 4 Height:5'4" Bras, bras bras! I have mixed feelings
about wearing bras. I think all women should
feel comfortable enough to walk around braless
without receiving dirty looks from other women.
I don't generally like to wear them, but if
I have to I like a comfortable fit that feels
like I'm wearing nothing! Bras that provide
a smooth curve even while wearing a t-shirt
are great, but no underwires!

2 Height:5'2" Sometimes bra shopping can be a very
challenging experience for petite women.
I usually go back to Hong Kong or China to
buy my bras because I can easily find a variety
of bras in my size. When I get luckily and
find the perfect bra that fits me then I
usually stock up and buy it in various colors
in the same style. I can't wait till they
have more bra selection for petite women
so we can enjoy bra shopping again!
